Mini Beauty Product Haul

Everything I got.

I wanted to get new foundation and I always wanted to try out BB creams so I went ahead and got this small tube of it. This was $6. I am undecided on whether I like it or not. I prefer my foundations to have medium/full coverage and this doesn't have that much. I guess its good for those good skin days. It is also makes your face waaaaay lighter but if you love to apply bronzer and blush and setting powder you should be okay. Since it's supposed to make your face look paler you can go overboard with bronzer/blush and still look normal!

Since I was still on my foundation kick and since I had a $20 off of $50 coupon for Sephora I decided to try out this one. It was either this or Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation which I will probably try in the future. This foundation has a floralish fragrance which you can smell for a little while after you apply it. This has medium but buildable coverage. It really evens out your skin tone. So far, so good. This was $48.

I love how the top of the bottle is. The bottle is also pretty heavy. I got the shade 021 Linen.

Since I needed to spend $2 more to use my coupon I got another bottle of Philosophy's Purity Made Simple for $13. I am still undecided on this. It isn't great but it also isn't horrible.

Thennn I got the infamous and IMPOSSIBLE to find EOS lip balms! I got this on sale for only $2.99 and I love how it smells. I'm gonna go check out other locations to see if I can find the other flavours in stock.

I also got a big bottle of Aussie shampoo for around $5 at Walmart but I figured everyone knows what a bottle of shampoo looks like so I didn't take any pictures of it...

Festive Nails!!

Since it's the last week of school before break I thought I'd do a christmasy nail polish! I used one coat of a red nail polish and then one coat of my sparkly red polish. I also used OPI base coat and top coat.

I used one coat of Revlons Mon Cherry polish.

Then I used one coat of China Glaze Love Marilyn glitter polish. This was in my recent nail polish haul as well. This polish needs a polish underneath it to make it pop. I think this would also look awesome over a black or white polish since the tiny red glitter flakes don't show up that well over the other red polish. The silver flakes really shine and sparkle when they hit the light!

OPI Meep Meep Meep

This is actually last weeks nail polish. This picture was taken right before I took it off yesterday (saturday). As you can see it lasts all week without any chips!! If anything, my nail polish is just a bit less shiny by the end of the week. This polish is a pink glittery nail polish but it isn't the type of glitter that takes forever to get off. I used just one coat of this polish with OPI topcoat as usual!

This is OPI Meep Meep Meep from the Muppet collection. It was in my recent nail polish haul!

Loreal Mango-Get-em

This weeks nail polish is called Mango-Get-Em by Loreal. I don't really get why its has mango in the name when it's totally pink and is nothing close to the colour of a mango..
Anyways, I used two coats of this and OPI top coat as always!

It's super nice and sunny outside but it's really cold as always.. Too bad it's not hot outside so that I could work on my tan ;) I'm staying inside studying for a million upcoming tests this week :((

Rainy days

A and myself live in a very very rainy city. Its rains about 8 months a year which totally blows -.- Anyways this is when rain boots come in handy ! I decided early this year that hunters just weren't going to cut it because I wanted something that looked more dressy so that I didn't have to always be casual when wearing them. So I opted for these Burberry rain boots, which literally was one of the BEST purchases I have ever made. I love them so much I thought why not share the love :)
Enjoy !
There not obviously Burberry which is another reason why I like them so much and they're super comfy !
I bought these at Holt Renfrew....they were $320.00 ish after taxes. They're on the pricier side for just rubber BUT they are sooooooooo worth it !

Makeup haul / Reviews

Hey guys its M, I have been MIA for awhile but I am back ! This is some of the makeup I have collected over the last month or so. I can honestly say all this stuff is great and works for my skin! I have a few personal favourites that I thought I should share
Enjoy !

1# NARS Blush Duo (in shades orgasm and laguna)
I know this is already highly reviewed and rated but I just had to put it up ! This duo is great because its practical for everyday use. It goes on so nicely and a little goes a long way. I give this product a 10/10 cause its does everything it claims and is reasonably priced.
$50.00

2# NAKED by urban decay
I tend to be more plain when I wear makeup and stick to the same shades of brown so this palette
is perfect. I find myself using this on a daily basis. This set also came with a brush (not pictured) and a mini urban decay primer potion (not pictured) so you really get more for your money with this palette. I would rate this an 8/10 because I do love the colours but I find that they are a bit overly pigmented so if you put too much not knowing expect to have raccoon eyes !
$58.00

MAYBELLINE lipstick (in shade amethyst a blaze)
This colour ROCKS ! Its dark purple colour which can really make a plain outfit pop with this bad boy. It goes on quite sheer so you need lots of coats for a darker, more pigmented look. I give this a 9/10 because this lipstick does not have a chalky feel on your lips which I can't stand and its a very unique shade !
$14.00

PS I just realized after uploading the pictures the lipstick looks PINK... I will upload a picture later  showing its true colour !!

Mini Nail Polish Haul!

From left to right: China Glaze Skyscraper, OPI Meep Meep Meep, China Glaze Blue Year's Eve, China Glaze Love Marilyn

I just got four new polishes and OPI Mod About You for a friend. (Loooove this colour!! You can check out my post about it here! )

Chine Glaze Blue Year's Eve

This weeks nail polish is a sparkly dark blue! It's my first China Glaze polish. It is nice and shimmery without being too glittery. It is pretty opaque with one coat but I used two anyways. I used OPI top coat and base coat since this is a darker colour.

I also decided to add a bit of glitter on my ring fingers. I used one coat of China Glaze Skyscraper.

Sephora VIB Haul!

Sephoras VIB 20% off sale started on Thursday. I went Thursday night and if you went on the first night and if you were a VIB member you got this free reusable tote bag. A nice thing about this coupon is that you can use it more that once.
The lineup to pay was INSANE!! It looped around the store like twice.

Everything I got.

Like always, I got a backup brush for my clarisonic mia. Can never have too many backups cause you have to change them about every three months.

Then I got a small bottle of the Purity Made Simple by Philosophy to use with my Clarisonic. I wanted a new face wash and I've always wanted to give this one a try to I picked it up. The whole store was sold out of the bigger bottles so I just got the smallest one to try out.

I got the NARS lipgloss in Turkish Delight. It is a light milky pink gloss, perfect for a nude lip.

If you were a VIB member you also got this little drawstring bag filled with a bunch of little samples!

Then I FINALLY got this set. I've been waiting for my sephora to get this in for like two weeks. Id pop into sephora every time I went to the mall and the display would always be empty. I got it a different day that I got the rest of the stuff.
This it a great deal though! You get both the Jasmine lip butter and the lip glaze for $19.50 when the lip glaze is already $18.50. Both of these are a light pink nude colour too.

Essie Infatuation

This weeks nail polish is just a normal pink. Not too bright, not too dark, nothing too special.
Sorry my pictures suck. Its dark and gloomy today..

I used two coats of Essie Infatuation and OPI top coat like usual. I actually got this nail polish a few years ago on sale for $2.99!!!

OPI Jade is the New Black

This is actually last weeks polish and these pictures are were taken right before I took it off. As you can see I have no chips or anything! I usually do my nails on sundays and take it off friday/saturday/sunday, whenever I have time.

I believe I used two coats of this and as always, I used OPI topcoat!

Small Sephora haul from the VIB 20% off coming up sooooooon!!

OPI Mod About You

This weeks nail polish is OPI Mod About You. This is one of my favourite shades of pink nail polish. I have three colours like this that look identical but to a nail polish hoarder they are all justifiable! This polish is the most opaque light pink I have ever found. I used two coats but one coat is enough. As always I used OPI topcoat.

Sundays are always super lazy days. Its disgusting outside..soo cold and rainy. I'm just staying inside doing homework and reading one of my favourite magazines that M gave to me (:

Bright pink with glitter.

This weeks nail polish is a neon pink with glitter on one finger with my cute hello kitty phone case I got at the night market. I obviously had trouble getting a picture of the true colour because this polish is super duper bright! Perfect for the sunny weather we're having today..too bad its not hot out cause I could totally go for a tan!

I used two coats of the neon pink which I got at an asian beauty store in the mall but it doesn't have a brand on it.. The only thing I can tell you is that its the shade 207. There is a better picture of the bottle below!

Then I used one coat of Sinful Colors Professional in 830 Pinky Glitter on my ring fingers. I like the look of glitter but it takes forever to take off!

Picture overloaaad!! Here's some pictures I took during the summer of this nail polish. This was my go to summer polish for fingers and toes. It looks great with a tan.
These show the colour a little bit better..

Except in these pictures I used Sally Hansen Hard as Nails glitter polish 33 on every nail.
