Revlon Lip Butter and a few swatches

I originally had only one of these that M got for me when she went on vacation. She got the Strawberry Shortcake. I am very rarely into drugstore products so for me to buy two more of these is a surprise. Today I bought Cupcake and Creme Brulee. They are soooo expensive here. One was $10.49 but there was a deal where you got $5 off if you spent $15 on any Revlon products. These are exceptionally pigmented for lip butters. They are not your normal tinted lip balm with little to no colour.

From left to right in every picture: Strawberry Shortcake, Cupcake, Creme Brulee

As you can see these are have a good amount of colour to them. Strawberry Shortcake is a midtone pink. Cupcake is a light baby pink and Creme Brulee appears very brown/orange in these pictures but on the lips it is a perfect nude colour.

Essie Lovie Dovie

This is Essie Lovie Dovie. I used two or three coats and OPI top coat as always. It is a nice creamy midtone barbie pink.

Beauty Haul

I've collected all this stuff since Christmas break..so sometime in December? I never go out and buy a whole bunch of stuff. Buying stuff at more than like two/three stores in one shopping trip for me is rare! M and I are shopaholics..that's basically all we do. Since we go to the mall and stuff often we are able to get the best deals. Very rarely do we buy things that are regular price which is a cheap shopping trick M has picked up from me.

A department store here always has a beauty card promo. I got the Chanel Glossimer and the Powder at the same time because I think I needed to spend 75 to get 15 off.. You also got the beauty card to use again which is when I bought the 2 YSL Rouge Voluptes.

The Chanel Glossimer is 148 Petit Peche as you can see and it was $31. It is very smooth and not sticky. It sparkles nicely in the sunlight but it isn't super opaque but I don't mind.
The bottom two are the YSL Rouge Voluptes which are $38. I got number 1 Nude Beige and number 7 Lingerie Pink. Nuge Beige is just an awesome nude and Lingerie pink is a pinky nude. These are suuuuuuper creamy and smooth and they have a watermelon scent.

This is the Chanel powder that I got. It was $56.

Let's just take a moment and look at the packaging...How glamorous. Obviously the picture was meant to go the other way but it uploaded this way so whatever.. One thing I hate doing is uploading pictures because even though they are the right way on my computer, they upload sideways or something which is such a pain.

I got 3 polishes today and 2 the last time I went. From left to right:
China Glaze Rose Among Thorns (neon), OPI Fly, China Glaze Celtic Sun (neon), OPI Hot & Spicy, China Glaze Techno.
Remember to watch for these in upcoming NOTW posts :)

Holographic Glitter

Woaaaah long time no post!! How is everyone? I'm back with a nail of the week post for this week. I don't want to post about nail polishes I've already talked about so that is why there haven't been any NOTW posts for the past two weeks.
I've been wanting to wear this black colour for awhile but on its own it's just a little bit too gothic for me. I've been on the look out for a glitter polish that isn't too saturated with glitter because I still wanted to be able to see the black underneath and I finally went to my favourite nail store today so I was able to pick up this glitter from the new China Glaze collection.

Suzi Skis in the Pyrenees is not an opaque polish. I think I used about 4 coats of it but I am not sure because I don't actually count. Since this is a dark colour I used OPI Base coat under it to minimize staining.

I picked up the gorgeous holographic glitter polish today! It is just tiny silver sparkles with bigger silver glitter pieces but when the light hits them they reflect all colours of the rainbow as you can see in the pictures.

This is China Glaze Techno from their new collection. I used one coat of glitter. As always I used OPI top coat.
