Essie Play Date

M and I searched high and low for this damn nail polish. I needed a purple polish and this was the one that I wanted to get but apparently it's like sold out all over the place.. I used two or three coats, I can't remember. Essie has been one of my favourite brands of nail polish lately.

Essie Off the Shoulder

This is a nice and simple midtone pink. Goes with anything and it's not too out there. A pink polish like this is a staple pink from every brand so you will be able to find a polish similar to this colour anywhere. I used two coats of this polish. I got this polish in a little mini set so it is nothing that you need to rush out and buy

China Glaze Celtic Sun

This polish is seriously bright! Like in your face, it will hurt your eyes if you stare too long bright. Once again being a China Glaze neon polish it chips extremely fast, like the day I put it on as you can see above.

This is one of those neons that needs to have a white base coat underneath it. I used two coats of OPI Alpine Snow.

China Glaze Shocking Pink

Great neon pink polish. Love the colour but the polish itself not so much.

I believe I used two coats of China Glaze Shocking Pink

Like most neons this dries matte so I used Essie Good to Go top coat on top. This polish chipped the same day I put it on but I love the colour so I didn't want to take it off quite yet.

The next day I decided to add a gradient of fading glitter to the tips. This was the first time I added fading glitter tips but I suppose it looks alright. I could have brought the glitter down a bit farther though. As you can see, I used Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Nail Color in Strobe Light.

OPI Hot & Spicy

Two or three coats plus top coat. This is a nice bright colour without being too in your face. Not really red, not quite orange or coral either but overall I really like this colour!

China Glaze Pink Plumeria

Care free everyday colour! This is from the China Glaze neon collection. Nice pop of colour. This pink is pretty unique, I don't have anything similar to this in my collection! I used two coats and OPI Rapidry top coat!

Sally Hansen Pacific Blue

This colour was one that I was dying to try but I couldn't seem to find it anywhere so I picked it up on vacation months back. I was a little dissapointed, this is only the second time I am wearing this polish. I wanted it to be a bright cobalt blue but it isn't as bright as I was hoping for. It is a little bit dusty and it just doesn't have that wow facter there for me.. I used two coats and OPI RapiDry top coat to top it off. I want to try Nails Inc Baker Street so I will pick that up in the future!

Sinful Colors 24/7, Essie Set in Stones

I am seriously in LOOOVE with this combo. The neon is so neon and the accent nail goes perfectly with this.

Sinful Colors 24/7 was hard to paint on evenly. It was goopy and streaky. Neon nail polish also chips extremely fast and this one is no exception. It looked sooo awful in two or three days but it's totally worth it because it looks so good.

This is a polish from the Essie Luxeffects line of top coats. The glitter in here is sooo metallic and reflective. (The pink version of this can be seen here It looks super cool in the light. I used two coats here. This polish is dense so it's easy to cover the whole nail. As a side note if I were to use this glitter as an accent nail, I won't be use a polish underneath it because I don't like how the pink is still peaking through a bit at the edges.

I also tried out this new top coat I got in a little set and I am liking this more than Essie Good to Go. It it super shiny and dries fast like Essie Good to Go without the noticeable ridges around the nail where the top coat ended. So far so good!

Color Club Wham! Pow!

I am trying to figure out what the name of this nameless Color Club polish is! Apparently this is not it. Stay tuned as the hunt for the nameless polish continues! This is a true neon orange. So fun and bright, I love it! Two coats plus Essie Good to Go on top.

Essie Mojito Madness

Two coats of Essie Mojito Madness with Essie Good to Go top coat. This is a nice kelly green polish. Not too out there but still something different since I don't usually go for green nails.

ORLY Fancy Fuchsia

These pictures were taken after a week of wear. As you can see, on the pointer finger there is a little bit of pre-chipping going on but other than that it looks pretty good. Two coats with Essie Good to Go topcoat on top. I feel that this colour looks more dramatic and brighter in the bottle than it does on the nails. In these pictures it looks pretty bright but in person I think it just looks like a normal bright pink.

Essie Borrowed & Blue

Not my favourite colour on me. It kinda made my hands look dirty which is totally the look I am going for. I used three/four coats and Essie Good to Go top coat.

China Glaze Rose Among Thorns and Techno

Two coats of Rose Among Thorns. This whole look chipped super fast..I supposed it's cause of the neon and China Glaze neons chip extremely fast which is annoying!

One coat of China Glaze Techno which I have also shown on here before

Bonus pictures of a nameless Color Club polish..
I LOOOOOVE this colour so I wish I knew the name of it. It it so bright and in your face, a true neon. It also didn't chip super fast which is always a plus.

Essie A Cut Above

I believe this is two coats of OPI Mod About You which is an awesome colour! I've featured in on here before. It is extremely opaque for such a light colour. For my accent nail I used two coats of Essie A Cut Above. It is hard to capture in pictures how reflective this glitter really it. I liked it so much I even got the silver glitter as well. I used Essie Good to Go top coat. I have been using this for awhile now and its alright.
